Fluoroscopy is an X-ray movie as compared to a static dental x-ray. In root canals and implant surgeries, errors and interruptions made are largely due to the limitations of current ‘static’ imaging technologies. All these mistakes can cost patient’s suffering and to dentists a great deal of money. Attempts to introduce fluoroscopy in dentistry have failed due to device’s large size, high radiation dosage and low resolution.
Real Time Dent, Corp. (RTD) is an early-stage Delaware Corporation founded in 2008 by a dentist with more than 13 years of experience as a clinician, researcher and entrepreneur.
